Investment Banking Associate

Seeking an ambitious and talented professional to join our Investment Banking team in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to fast track your career in one of the highest performing global Investment Banking firms with stable, accomplished senior origination and team leadership.

  • Assist in drafting and preparation of client presentations, board reports, Information Memoranda, Prospectuses, and other client material
  • Participating and supporting transaction execution, due diligence, execution and negotiation
  • Work closely with senior professionals to conduct financial analyses including financial statement and valuation analyses; assisting in development of financial models; company and industry research

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or similar degree level qualification
  • 3+ years' experience in corporate finance and strategy, with a strong preference for specific investment banking experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of corporate and investment finance
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in aspects of work product
  • A resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player
  • Client-first orientation with capability in managing multiple stakeholders on transactions
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and financial modeling
