About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Western suburbs. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with domestic duties to clients with physical disabilities
  • Support clients with bowel care and catheter care
  • Assist with transfers and use of equipment, including hoisting
  • Work with clients who may display challenging behaviors
  • Provide transport for clients in your own vehicle (reimbursed by the company)
  • Work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Requirements
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, particularly those with physical disabilities
  • Good judgment and common sense, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
  • Full driver's license and a reliable vehicle
