Structural Engineering Career Path

This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in structural engineering. As a graduate engineer, you will be involved in the design and development of buildings and other structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the completion of projects or sections of projects under close supervision.
  • Utilize standard engineering techniques to solve problems effectively.
  • Support senior engineers with analysis, design, and calculation tasks.
  • Prepare calculations and analysis reports for building structures.
  • Assist with the preparation of specifications, proposals, and other documentation under close guidance.
  • Communicate and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under supervision.
Key Qualifications:
  • Graduate membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Familiarity with BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
  • 0-3 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations through analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
