As a key figure in our team, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of shutdowns, with a keen focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and service excellence.

With a strong background in technical support and service, you will lead a team of customer/user personnel, ensuring seamless execution of field activities and adherence to customer site policies. You will also be responsible for allocating resources, coordinating logistics, and promoting Metso Outotec products and services to customers.

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years' experience in crusher/related industrial equipment technical support and service, as well as a strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics. You must also be able to effectively lead and supervise customer/user personnel, interact with various stakeholders, and maintain a steady attitude when pressured.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support supervisors with field maintenance
  • Ensure safe execution of in-field activities
  • Monitor shutdown schedule and communicate with the customer
  • Troubleshoot equipment
  • Ensure customer site policies are adhered to
  • Allocate resources to scheduled work
  • Attend customer safety and schedule update meetings
  • Coordinate resource logistics and execution activities
  • Collaborate with internal departments for customer needs
  • Manage tooling requirements for upcoming projects
  • Promote Metso Outotec products and services to customers

What you need to succeed:

  • 5 years' experience in crusher/related industrial equipment technical support and service
  • Associates degree in engineering or high school diploma with equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical-field-related problems
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment field service technician or mechanic
  • Ability to effectively lead and supervise customer/user personnel under various working conditions and hours
  • Ability to interact with Field Sales, Training, Application & Technical Support groups, as well as Parts, Support & Engineering groups
  • Ability to maintain a steady and level attitude when pressured
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Ability to solve problems and situations

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
