About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our cabin crew performance and change initiatives. As Director of Flight Operations Excellence, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to optimise cabin crew operations across both international and domestic networks.

This includes overseeing workforce planning, operational performance, and driving innovation in crew resourcing strategies to meet evolving business needs. You will manage relationships with industrial stakeholders, including unions, ensuring alignment on workforce strategies and enterprise agreements, while maintaining a proactive approach to work health and safety consultation.

About You
  • You have over 15 years' experience with a strong background in management, strategy consulting, and operational leadership.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in business, aviation, or a related field, with a preference for qualifications in workplace health and safety or industrial relations.
  • You have extensive expertise in strategic development, financial evaluation, project management, and operational workforce planning.
  • You possess a high level of resilience and proven experience in driving change management initiatives, navigating complex challenges, and maintaining performance during times of change.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and comparable roles within the aviation sector.
