Senior Mental Health Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Clinician to lead our mental health services team. This role is an integral part of the management team and requires someone with experience in leading clinical teams within similar organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full operational management of all services and programs
  • Provide clinical supervision to the counselling team
  • Be a point of escalation for very complex cases
  • Provide supervision to approximately 10 direct reports
  • Liaise with senior executive management when required
  • Work with senior executive team to limit risks and areas of concern
  • Alongside HR manage any performance and staffing issues
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading teams and operating at mid-senior level management
  • Solid background within the mental health services sector, specifically youth and family services
  • Knowledge, skills and experience in counselling
  • Experience in development of programs through to implementation
  • AHPRA approval to provide supervision
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing
  • Current registration with AHPRA
