Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine necessary changes to existing processes and develop test plans to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale software applications using ASP.NET, Java, and Sybase.
  • Oversee the work of junior developers and provide guidance and mentorship as needed.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Product development including requirements analysis, technical design, programming, testing, performance tuning, and implementation of assigned projects.
  • Analyzing complex data and workflow requirements, consolidating information from various business groups, and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Designing and writing code in .Net, C#, SQL, ASP.NET, WF, WCF, and Java.
  • Performing code walkthroughs to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and requirements.
  • SUPPORTING EXISTING SYSTEMS AND DESIGNING AND COORDINATING EXECUTION OF TEST PLANS.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years professional experience writing software using C#.
  • Experience running complex projects with many stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and sub ledger systems.
  • Experience with full application development lifecycle (analysis, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment).
  • Strong skills in .Net/C# and Java, with experience on Relational Databases: Sybase, SQLServer, Oracle.
  • Knowledge of major source control system and technology security.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail.
