Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the availability, integrity, and performance of critical data assets. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust backup and recovery strategies.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure database management through the development of logical designs, refinement of data models, and creation of database documentation.
  • Monitor database performance and manage parameters to ensure speedy query responses to front-end users.
  • Produce and use reports, advising on and assisting with the development of database utilities and automated reporting.
  • Apply enhancements, commissioning and installing new applications, customizing existing applications, and communicating regularly with technical, applications, and operational employees to ensure database integrity and security.
  • Maintain data standards in accordance with client requirements, Dimension Data policies, and the Data Protection Act.
