Support Associate

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to individuals in their homes.
• You will assist with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance.
• You will also provide domestic assistance including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• In addition, you will support customers with social activities, shopping, travelling to medical appointments, and use of aids and personal equipment.
• You will monitor the well-being of customers and report on their progress.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Services, or similar is preferred.
• You must have a current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card) are required.
• You must have a reliable, insured vehicle and a current Australian Driver's Licence.
• A smartphone with internet access is necessary.
• A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is also required.
