At CRH, a leading provider of building materials solutions, we're looking for a highly skilled Construction Engineer to join our team in Sydney.

As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to drive quality, safety, and efficiency in our production processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in construction engineering, with experience in applying lean principles to improve machinery design and operation. You'll work closely with site managers and other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance productivity and safety.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business and contribute to the success of our global network of over 3,000 employees.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles to improve production quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Work with site managers and other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Apply lean principles to improve machinery design and operation
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S systems and procedures
  • R&D to improve machine efficiency
  • Promote customer service excellence
  • Liaise with suppliers and external maintenance teams to ensure spare parts availability
  • Gather and analyze accurate information for effective decision-making
  • Ensure efficient operation of plant and equipment

  • A competitive salary package including $120,000 - $150,000 AUD per annum, dependent on experience
