About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Biostatistics to join our team at MExec Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading our biostatistics team and contributing to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of biostatisticians and data scientists in the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials, ensuring scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, and data integrity.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance to the biostatistics team and deliver technical expertise to colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Organize work assignments and allocate adequate resources to studies and projects, ensuring the biostatistics team is operationally efficient and compliant with relevant regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Plan and execute statistics projects in line with our Standard Operating Procedures and other processes, collaborating with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the team's input into the statistical sections of protocols, including recommendations for study design and sample size calculations, as well as the statistical analysis, validation, and reporting of study data.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service delivery within the CRO industry.
  • Minimum Master's degree in Biostatistics, Biometrics, or other related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience working as a biostatistician, ideally in the CRO industry or a related field.
  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently lead technical teams within a multidisciplinary organization.
  • Expert knowledge of statistics applicable to clinical trials and research data, complemented by strong technical skills in statistical analysis, process, and programming processes.
  • High-level knowledge of GCP regulatory environment of statistics and CDISC.
