Quantum Software Developer

We're seeking a skilled Quantum Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum sensing technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and collaborate with experts in the field.

About the Role:

As a Quantum Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software applications used in our quantum sensors and auxiliary hardware. You'll work closely with research scientists to develop state-of-the-art technology and drive a culture of software development best practices.

  • Design and implement software applications employed in Q-CTRL's quantum sensors and auxiliary hardware.
  • Develop and integrate software applications used in the optimization of next-generation quantum sensing, navigation, and map-matching technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve novel issues in research and development environments.
  • Contribute to the development of continuous integration systems and software testing infrastructure.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working in a research environment while collaborating with established engineering teams and research scientists.
  • Proficiency in writing numerical software or algorithm development, with an emphasis on inertial navigation, state estimation, data fusion, or optimization.
  • Knowledge of systems programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust.
  • Understanding of Python tools and packages for data processing.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining continuous integration systems.
