Senior Fire Engineering Consultant

As a Senior Fire Engineering Consultant, you will play a key role in managing fire engineering projects and providing technical expertise across a range of high-profile projects.

You will be responsible for conducting fire safety engineering design and analysis, as well as managing client relationships and securing new projects.

">

Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary engineering qualification in fire safety engineering and experience in fire safety design, risk assessment, and compliance with Australian Standards and legislation.

">

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative individual who can work effectively with our team to deliver best client outcomes and contribute to the development of internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input across a range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas.
  • Conduct fire safety engineering design and analysis in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for the internal management and delivery of allocated projects.
  • Working collaboratively with our technically excellent and collaborative team.
  • Manage client relationships, securing and overseeing projects.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal processes, including design and calculation tools.
  • Mentoring of junior staff.

Requirements:

">
  • Relevant tertiary engineering qualification in fire safety engineering.
  • Transport experience and Chartered Engineer status preferable.
  • Registered Certifier - Fire Safety in NSW or able to attain certification.
  • Proven ability in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of high-profile projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in fire safety design, risk assessment, and compliance with Australian Standards, and Building Codes and legislation.
  • Competent in monitoring and managing the scope (including variations) of multiple projects of varying complexity and size and guiding the work of others.
  • Demonstrated multiple instances of delivering best client outcomes/options which have saved the client costs/time and addressed their requirements.
  • Extensive experience in client relationships. Ability to communicate complex technical issues to clients and guide the client through regulatory processes.
