Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced technical analysis to offer practical and commercially viable advice across a wide spectrum of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and structuring transactions.
- Investigate, evaluate, and interpret tax legislation, providing expert insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in implementing strategies for key tax planning priorities, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
- Develop successful client relationships and generate business development opportunities through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Support the delivery of technical training and professional development programs, helping to upskill and reskill team members.
- Lead and oversee tax projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed.
- In conjunction with Marketing, offer thought leadership content to clients and stakeholders, showcasing expertise and building trust.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in accounting, law, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in business services, tax consulting, or equivalent.
- An inquisitive and analytical mindset with a passion for delving into complex issues and finding innovative solutions to challenging tax problems.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Team-oriented approach, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to work ensuring accuracy in analysis and recommendations.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances or priorities, maintaining focus on productivity under pressure.
