About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melbourne. As an Occupational Therapist - NDIS Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapy services to individuals with disabilities and elderly individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Prescribe and provide assistive equipment to enhance the independence and mobility of our clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, and NDIS coordinators, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Deliver therapy services, including fine motor skills, sensory profiling, and daily living skills support, to NDIS participants.
  • Provide comprehensive written reports and maintain accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full AHPRA registration.
  • Experience working with NDIS and Home Care Package clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
