The Role

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our participants with complex needs. Your role will involve:

  • Providing complex care and support to participants with challenging behaviours and ability to comply with individual Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Completing medical charts and records.
  • Providing support around personal care, including bed bath/showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration.
  • Recognising and understanding individual changes.
  • Providing domestic duties for a clean and hygienic environment and workplace, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Empowering and supporting individual support needs, improving daily living with an understanding of cognitive impairment, Autism Spectrum, intellectual disability, and psychosis diagnosis.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent.
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
  • Current Driver's License.
