Job Title

A Software Migration Tester is required to validate data migration and integration processes within ERP systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with onshore team members to understand data migration requirements;
  • Developing and executing test cases to validate the accuracy and completeness of data migration;
  • Identifying and reporting any data migration issues or discrepancies to the onshore team for resolution;
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure testing aligns with project timelines;
  • Documenting test results, issues, and resolutions for future reference and auditing purposes;
  • Participating in regular status meetings and providing updates on testing progress and findings.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in data migration testing, preferably in the context of ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365;
  • A good understanding of data migration processes and best practices;
  • Proficiency in using testing tools and techniques to validate data accuracy and completeness;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with onshore teams;
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.

In addition to data migration testing, the successful candidate will also be responsible for integration testing, including:

  • Collaborating with onshore team members to understand integration requirements;
  • Developing and executing integration test cases to validate the functionality and interoperability of various modules and components;
  • Identifying and reporting any integration issues or discrepancies to the onshore team for resolution;
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure testing aligns with project timelines;
  • Documenting test results, issues, and resolutions for future reference and auditing purposes;
  • Participating in regular status meetings and providing updates on testing progress and findings.

The ideal candidate for integration testing will possess:

  • Proven experience in integration testing, particularly using RestAssured for API testing;
  • A strong understanding of integration processes within ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365;
  • Proficiency in using RestAssured and other testing tools and techniques to validate integration functionality and interoperability;
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the ERP system.
