Warehouse and Logistics Associate Job Description

The primary role of this position is to manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a warehouse environment. This includes loading and unloading delivery trucks, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring all stock meets food service standards.

This position requires a high standard of self-motivation and competency to ensure that food service standards are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lift, carry, unpack, load, and unload supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements.
  • Ensure all stock, both received and on hand, meets food service standards.
  • Load delivery trucks with goods.
  • Pick client orders daily, manage stock rotation, and replenish stock as required.
  • Deliver client meals to service outlets.
  • Work in a freezer environment.
  • Assist with periodic cycle counts and year-end stock takes.
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Current Australian driver's license required.
  • Experience working in a cold storage environment an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
