KU South Turramurra Preschool is seeking a passionate and inspiring leader to join our team. As a Service Director, you will be responsible for leading our 35-place preschool and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years old.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent leadership opportunity that operates during NSW term time. You will be working closely with our experienced team to develop and maintain relationships with children and families, rostering, mentoring, daily routines, policy implementation, and building a harmonious working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching on the floor 4 days a week
- Administration duties 1 day a week
- Supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Building and maintaining relationships with children, families, and staff
- Leading and mentoring a team of educators

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- At least 2 years of previous directing experience
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child-safe practices
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
