Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of the housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness across all areas of the resort.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar hotel position and a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety, including safe chemical handling.

You will also need strong communication skills, an ability to work well independently and in a team environment, and flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and school breaks.

About the Role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that hotel rooms are cleaned to a high standard, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.

You will also be responsible for delegating workload to ensure rooms are refreshed in a timely manner, controlling stock, and reporting discrepancies to the Executive Housekeeper.

In addition, you will be required to quality check rooms and liaise with Front Office to release for occupancy, plan and implement weekly rosters in consultation with the Housekeeping Manager, and observe precautions required to protect resort guests and guest property.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience within a similar hotel position.
  • Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety, including safe chemical handling.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and school breaks.
