Key Responsibilities
  1. Assisting the Dentist: Provide chair-side support and sterilize instruments during procedures.
  2. Treatment Room Preparation: Maintain treatment rooms and instruments to the highest standards.
  3. Patient Scheduling: Manage patient appointments, bookings, and recalls with accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Patient Experience: Welcome patients and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
  5. Patient Enquiries: Handle patient enquiries and coordinate patient care with the dental team.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Financial Transactions: Manage payments and health fund claims with precision.
Requirements
  1. Availability: Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays is essential, with the possibility of additional shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  2. Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  4. Attitude: A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care is required.
  5. Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
  6. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
  7. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in dental software (Oasis, Examine Pro) is a plus but not essential.
