Job Description:

As a skilled Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing essential maintenance and repair services to a diverse range of construction and mining equipment.

The Opportunity:

  • Ensure the overall health and performance of our equipment by delivering timely and efficient breakdown, service, and planned maintenance support.
  • Conduct onsite repairs and diagnostic work on various Hitachi Construction and Mining machines.
  • Respond to site breakdowns within Port Hedland and surrounding areas, providing solutions that minimize downtime.
  • Liaise with customers, building strong relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with internal technical support staff to achieve successful maintenance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embody and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Hold relevant Australian mobile plant trade qualifications and certifications.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience with civil and mining equipment.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously in remote areas.
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Display exceptional technical knowledge and diagnostic abilities.
