As a Patient Services Specialist, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional care by welcoming and directing patients, responding to phone calls, and checking patients in and out.
- Ensure all incoming phone calls are promptly answered and directed to the appropriate area.
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and update all patient demographics as needed.
- Obtain, confirm, and enter patient insurance information into our system.
- Schedule patients according to clinic protocols and guidelines.
Your additional responsibilities may include preparing charts and encounter tickets prior to patient visits, confirming appointments and documenting responses in our electronic medical record, receiving and uploading laboratory and procedural results into the patient's chart, and collecting outstanding balances and co-pays from patients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and a willingness to adapt to our team's needs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred education and/or training related to the clinic specialty.

- Collect outstanding balances and co-pays from patients in a respectful manner.
