Nurse Manager in Intensive Care Services

  1. Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Intensive Care Services team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and ongoing service development of our ICU. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the ICU team
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellence in patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and professionalism among team members
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  1. Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Extensive clinical experience in critical care environments
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate services, identifying areas for improvement
  • Familiarity with relevant accreditation standards and processes
