Healthcare Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our healthcare volunteer project in Guatemala. This project provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a difference in the lives of local people.

The project focuses on providing healthcare support to local communities, working alongside professionals in the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, nutrition, and project management.

Project Overview:

Our project offers an opportunity to contribute to community-based healthcare initiatives, work alongside local professionals, and participate in health education workshops and activities.

Volunteers can choose projects working with various age groups, from toddlers to young mothers, and immerse themselves in local life through optional home-stays or other accommodation options.

To ensure effective communication, 25 pre-departure Spanish lessons are included.

What You Will Do:
  • Work alongside local professionals in healthcare settings
  • Contribute to community-based healthcare projects
  • Participate in health education workshops and activities
  • Immerse yourself in local Guatemalan culture and language
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Basic understanding of Spanish language (pre-departure lessons provided)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Benefits:

As a healthcare volunteer, you will receive dedicated support throughout your stay, including pre-departure and in-country assistance.

Home-stays and other accommodation options are available to ensure a comfortable and immersive experience.

Duration and Cost:

Minimum 2 weeks duration; one set fee with no hidden costs.

750 GBP per person, regardless of length of stay.
