Painter Job Description

The painter role is a specialized position that requires expertise in painting and coating surfaces. This job involves working on various types of projects, including interior and exterior painting, as well as applying finishes to drywall.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding them.
  • Select and apply the appropriate paint or coating according to project requirements.
  • Use rollers, brushes, and spray guns to apply paint evenly and consistently.
  • Clean equipment and tools after each use to maintain their quality and extend their lifespan.
  • Work at heights using scaffolding and ladders to reach high ceilings and walls.
Requirements:
  • A valid U.S. or Australian citizenship is required for this position.
  • At least five years of experience as a painter with knowledge of different paints and coatings is necessary.
  • A current TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance or AUS PV Clearance is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.
