Job Description

The Music Teacher will contribute to the College's provision of a quality Christian education by developing and facilitating outstanding learning opportunities for every student. This will involve teaching classroom music in our Junior School or VCE Music in our Senior School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging music lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities;
  • Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance;
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, excellence, and integrity;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized music teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Music Education);
  • Proven experience in teaching music in a school setting, preferably with Christian values;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with Child Safe Standards and Christian teachings;
