">About the Role
">We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Residential Care Manager to lead our well-appointed facility in Salter Point.
">This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of residents and their families by delivering high-quality person-centred support services.
">Main Responsibilities
">- ">
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet and exceed all required standards. ">
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support services, promoting a holistic approach to resident care. ">
- Actively promote and model the values of the organisation through a collaborative team approach that actively supports the achievement of an ongoing, meaningful life for each resident. ">
- Manage and mentor staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. ">
- Develop and implement local initiatives to achieve the highest standard of care and services to residents, responsive to their individual needs. ">
- Work towards the achievement and maintenance of the centre's occupancy, funding and budget targets. ">
- Implement Clinical Governance actions and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework of the organisation. ">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will have:
">- ">
- Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate field or broad-based experience in managing a diverse, dynamic and complex service. ">
- Exceptional contemporary leadership skills and postgraduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualifications. ">
- Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience. ">
- High level of experience and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including contemporary issues, legislation and regulatory compliance. ">
- Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills. ">
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support. ">
- An understanding of financial management principles with the ability to interpret, act and deliver solid financial results. ">
- A good understanding and experience of contemporary human resources practices and management practice. ">
- Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity and Diversity and demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC. ">
- Ability to pass a National Police Check. ">
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical. ">
- Willingness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check. ">
