Role Overview

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the school's PE program. Your primary goal is to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical activity and well-being among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PE programs for students in P-6
  • Assess and report on students' fundamental motor skills development
  • Maintain sports equipment and liaise with external organizations to promote sporting activities
  • Coordinate participation in District and Regional carnivals
  • Support teachers with inter-school sports involvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Current Police Check
  • Equivalent to 4 years of teacher training
