About the Role
The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Hospital Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient, and effective service in the catering and cleaning of the health unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food in accordance with food safety standards
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with laundry duties, including collection, preparation, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of resident/patient clothing and hospital-owned goods
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the health unit
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites and on-call hours
