Food Service Professional

Delivering exceptional food and beverage service is a pivotal part of this role as a Catering Assistant (Level 2) within our dynamic team. Building on Level 1 responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to specialise in various areas such as preparing fresh salads and sandwiches, crafting delicious hot breakfast items, and ensuring smooth control of ingredients and stores. Additionally, you'll be responsible for opening and securing service areas, providing efficient cashiering, and managing meal services from updating meal lists to reheating frozen meals to perfection.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating memorable dining experiences. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team member who can bring a friendly and professional attitude to every task. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve high-quality food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Manage food storage, inventory, and waste disposal.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements- Strong literacy skills with the ability to interpret work instructions and menus.

- Previous experience and knowledge in catering or food service is highly valued.

Benefits- Salary: $1,084.00 - $1,095.10 per week (pro rata) + superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits.
