We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Drinks Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The job requires providing exceptional customer service, sharing product knowledge and recommendations, and contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers in an authentic way, sharing product knowledge and providing end-to-end service.
  • Work collaboratively with the store leadership team to set up and facilitate customer events.
  • Advocate for customer loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings.
  • Assist in developing the product knowledge of team members in the store.
  • Undertake various in-store tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks, as well as duty management.
  • Make decisions through and role model our Values and Ways of Working.
  • Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines.

About You:

You will have extensive knowledge in spirits, with a passion for continuous learning and growth of your knowledge. You will love to share your knowledge with others in a genuine and authentic way.

This role requires excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and team members.

Other Key Competencies:

  • Demonstrated strong product knowledge in spirits, with good knowledge of other categories (wine / beer).
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced retail, hospitality, sales, events or similar role.
  • Experience in a drinks-related role, including bar work or brand role, would be well regarded.
  • Familiarity/comfortable utilising digital/social media tools to enhance customer experiences/relationships.
  • Current RSA certificate.
  • Ability to work key customer hours.
