HBF Australia is committed to delivering exceptional cybersecurity solutions, and we're seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Penetration Testing and Application Security functions.

About the Role

This senior leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a systematic testing program, ensuring comprehensive coverage of HBF's systems. You will work closely with internal teams and external providers to enhance security assurance services and drive continuous improvement in cyber security processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Penetration Testing and Application Security practices, providing authoritative guidance on application security and risk management principles.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the security programs, aligning with HBF's overall technology governance strategies.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular reporting and metrics on cyber security performance to executive committees and regulators.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record of managing Penetration Testing and Application Security functions, with a strong background in risk management and technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams, driving business outcomes through effective change management.
  • Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
