Rural Generalist GP/VMO Opportunity

Work in a stunning location with high income potential as a Rural Generalist GP/VMO.

About the Role

We are seeking a new GP to replace a departing doctor and take over their existing patient base. The practice operates Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm, and Saturday 1pm-5pm. You will have access to Best Practice software, online bookings, and supported by visiting Allied Health professionals.

The role offers flexible work arrangements with an optional remote telehealth component, vehicle, accommodation, and relocation assistance provided. As a DPA MMM7 location, you will be eligible for Procedural Grants, GPRIP payments, PEP Specialist Stream, FSP Fellowship Support Program, ACRRM Independent Pathway & Specialist Pathway, Remote Vocational Training Scheme, and Rural Generalist Training Scheme.

King Island is a beautiful location with three main towns: Currie, Grassy, and Naracoopa. The island offers a variety of good coffee shops and restaurants serving local produce, including beef, cheese, and crayfish. The local airport provides daily flights.
