We're seeking a Seasonal Casual Parcel Sorter to join our team at Australia Post. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of parcels and mail across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process parcels and mail using manual and machine-assisted methods
  • Load and unload mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages
  • Operate and use load shifting equipment, such as hand pallet devices and stackers
  • Work collaboratively with operations staff to get mail into the facility
Requirements:
  • Availability to work from October through our peak period
  • Ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • Good memory and attention to detail
  • Safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment
  • Comfortable handling parcels containing meat and/or alcohol products
What We Offer:
  • A regular shift time and the opportunity to work with a great team
  • A higher rate of pay for applicable shift times (penalty rates)
  • A 12% superannuation rate
