Job Opportunity

The Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program is seeking a qualified Mental Health Clinician to deliver specialist mental health services.

The HOPE program provides targeted support to individuals aged 16 and over who have experienced suicidal ideation or attempted suicide.

  • Deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions to meet each individual's unique needs and goals over a three-month engagement period.

Some work will take place outside regular business hours, with shifts scheduled in advance.

About the Role

Key Requirements:

  • Expertise in mental health clinical services within a multidisciplinary team model.
  • Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices, trauma-informed care, and current trends in mental health services.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications:
  • Appropriate qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies, where required.
  • Social Workers must be eligible for registration with relevant associations.
