About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Aged Care Clinical Specialist to join our team at Access Telehealth. This is a part-time position with a competitive remuneration package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, care, and intervention to Aged Care Residents within the scope of a Nurse Practitioner. As a clinical expert, you will provide leadership within your scope of practice and collaborate with the wider medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-level clinical nursing, leadership, management, and governance to patients.
  • Collaborate with the wider medical team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health concerns.
  • Provide on-site work with occasional telehealth responsibilities.
  • Situated at facilities in and around the Sunshine Coast.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Advanced clinical experience in assessment, treatment, and health promotion within the scope of practice.
  • Demonstrated extensive professional and/or leadership experience.
  • Clinical problem-solving skills, including conceptual and analytical ability.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, health regulations, and obligations.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Evidence of appropriate and continuing professional indemnity insurance.
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
