Catholic Healthcare is a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care services, home and community services, and retirement living across NSW and SE QLD.

As an Accounts Payable Officer at Catholic Healthcare, you will be responsible for administering the accounts payable ledger, ensuring timely and accurate recording of expenditure while maintaining financial process controls.

The role involves providing consistent, timely, and accurate delivery of accounts payable services, contributing to the operation and integrity of the accounts payable system, and ensuring accounts payable functions are delivered effectively and efficiently.

You will process and validate invoices in Basware, handle creditors' enquiries, respond promptly and professionally, and undertake various operational activities associated with accounts payable.

To succeed in this role, you should have high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external customers.

Key requirements include:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a high-volume accounts payable team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and various ERP software, including Basware and/or SAP;
  • Demonstrated experience with accounts payable workflow processes;
  • Relevant experience in the Aged Care industry is highly regarded;
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to work as part of a team;
  • Related tertiary qualification is highly desirable;
  • Ability to provide evidence of Covid Immunisations.
