Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health (MH) Rehabilitation Services team in Whyalla. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health conditions, with a focus on promoting recovery and improving quality of life.



Key Responsibilities


  • To assess and develop individualized rehabilitation plans for clients with mental health conditions;
  • To provide evidence-based interventions and support to promote recovery and independence;
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care;
  • To maintain accurate records and report on client progress.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:




  • A recognized Occupational Therapy qualification and eligibility for registration as an occupational therapist in Australia;
  • Experience working in mental health rehabilitation settings;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • An understanding of the needs of people with mental health conditions and their families;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.


Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $88,255 - $102,240 per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.
