Description of the Job:

Linfox's Resource and Industrial business unit is seeking a reliable and experienced HC driver to be based at Silverwater, NSW. The chosen candidate will be responsible for safely delivering fuel to customers within metro Sydney and regional NSW using modern Volvo fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Safety Standards: The driver will be required to drive in a manner that adheres to Linfox's safety standards at all times.
  • Complying with Procedures: The driver must comply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling procedures.
  • Customer Service: The driver is expected to provide excellent customer service and represent Linfox in a professional manner.
  • Legislation Knowledge: The driver must have good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

Requirements:

  • Current HC Licence: The driver must hold a current and valid HC licence.
  • Dangerous Goods Licence: A current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Terminal Inductions: Current terminal inductions are highly regarded.
  • Shift Work: The driver must be able to manage fatigue and understand shift work.
  • Basic Manual Handling: The driver must have knowledge of basic manual handling procedures.
  • Work Ethic: The driver must have a strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills.
