Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify areas for improvement in the product's test coverage and implement new test methods to enhance overall software quality.
  2. Evaluate and champion quality throughout the product development cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure release of high-quality products.
  3. Maintain and extend API and UI automation frameworks across multiple projects, developing and executing automated test scripts in an Agile environment.
  4. Participate in code review and maintain test automation repository, designing, building, editing, and updating automated test scripts with minimal supervision.
  5. Perform testing (both manual and automated) and oversee or execute manual test execution where automation is not feasible.
  6. Analyze business requirements and increase overall testing coverage, partnering closely with dev teams to ensure user stories are thoroughly tested and ready for release.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and principles.
  • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
