  • Dewatering Mechanical Fitter
">Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled Dewatering Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on generators and diesel pumps.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Attending to routine servicing and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Prioritizing and attending to breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Conducting diagnostics and fault finding to resolve technical issues
  • Inspecting and maintaining Multistage Bore Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, fire pumps, and isolation and control valves
">Qualifications and Experience">
  • A diesel trade background with experience in Light/Heavy vehicle trade is essential
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety values is essential
  • Experience with computer systems, including Fortescue's systems, is preferred
  • A valid HR driver's license and forklift, CN, rigging, or dogging tickets are desirable
