About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Broker Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Broker Support Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Broker network, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our home lending applications.

As a Broker Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our Brokers, handling incoming phone calls and managing a dedicated inbox. You will work collaboratively with our Broker network, Business Development Managers, Business Development Consultants, State Managers, and Home Lending Assessors to ensure that our Brokers receive timely and accurate support throughout the home lending application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced customer service skills to ensure first call resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with Brokers and internal stakeholders via phone and email
  • Action and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet service level agreements
  • Complete regulatory and company compliance training courses
  • Embody the Suncorp Bank culture and demonstrate positive engagement
  • Proactively identify and manage risk as a first line defence of the bank
Requirements
  • Higher School Certificate
  • Understanding of the Australian Financial Industry
  • Experience in Contact Centre or Retail (customer facing) highly desirable
  • Banking &/or Lending experience highly desirable
