Radiographer Opportunity on the Gold Coast

Imagine finishing your shift and heading straight to the beach, rainforest, or even planning your next trip to the Great Barrier Reef - it's all possible with 300 days of sunshine a year on Queensland's stunning Gold Coast.

Join the team at John Flynn Private Hospital (JFH) in Southern end of Gold Coast, Tugun - 5 minutes to Airport and only 3 minutes to Gold Coast beaches.

JFH is a large private 354 bed hospital providing a wide range of healthcare services with a 24-hour emergency department, comprehensive cardiac services, general and orthopaedic surgery to medical Imaging inpatient and outpatient facilities.

As part of the fully comprehensive private practice located in JFH which includes 2 brand new GE CT scanners, MRI, X-ray, theatre, US and a PET and Nuclear Medicine centre serviced under the same company. Large range of referrers across multiple specialities, including, Cardiac, emergency, MSK, vascular, and neurology.

GE experience across CT & MRI is preferable but not essential.

Key Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
  • QLD Radiation Use License
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Tertiary qualification in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Minimum 3 years post graduate experience
  • GE CT and MRI experience is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to work rostered shifts and contribute to on-call coverage
