About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Care Leader to join our team at VetPartners as a Lead ECC Nurse. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, a passion for emergency and critical care, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ECC team, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.
- Provide immediate and exceptional emergency care to pets, working closely with the veterinary team to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Mentor and support ECC staff, fostering their professional development and growth within the team.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to ensure seamless communication between teams and ensure continuity of care.
- Liaise with the day team on behalf of night staff, addressing any concerns and ensuring that patient care is not compromised.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV or equivalent qualification in veterinary nursing, with ideally 2-3 years of ECC experience.
- A professional and positive demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
- Strong mentoring skills and a commitment to staff development, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
