We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in providing quality support services to NDIS participants.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and ages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of clients across the lifespan and from varying socio-cultural backgrounds.
  • Undertaking comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments to determine treatment plans.
  • Delivering person-centred interventions that address systemic issues and provide therapeutic support.
  • Monitoring and reporting on client progress, including signs and symptoms of risk or acute distress.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including family members and carers.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current general registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Excellent communication, time management and writing skills.
  • Relevant insurance, including professional indemnity and public liability.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Active ABN.
