Leading a retail team is a challenging yet rewarding experience that requires effective leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience preferably in a retail environment, where they can lead and direct staff to meet sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee daily operations of the store including supervising staff, managing inventory and implementing visual merchandising standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability and maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms and pricing to benefit the business.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, policies and procedures to minimize risks and protect employees and customers.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional leadership skills, strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their best results.

  • Minimum of a Diploma-level qualification in Retail Management or at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service.
  • Ability to manage financial and operational aspects of a store.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards.
