About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nursing Care: Conduct thorough assessments of new residents, develop personalized care plans, and review resident files to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our care services team to achieve operational goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and provide support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with residents, families, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and resident satisfaction.
  • Workplace Safety: Adhere to and support Work Health and Safety policies and procedures, contributing to a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Division 1) with general registration.
  • Experience: Aged care experience as an RN - Minimum 2 years.
  • Skills: Sensitivity to and understanding of the aspirations and needs of frail older people, ability to set and maintain high standards in care provision, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
