p>Court Transcription Officers are responsible for producing accurate, correctly formatted transcripts from digital recordings of court proceedings.\\

About the Role\\
p>This is a full-time opportunity to work as a Court Transcription Officer. You will be required to type at sustained speeds from recordings of court proceedings and contribute to the production of transcripts within strict timelines.\\

Deliverables and Timelines\\
p>The work performed is specialized and requires you to work to the needs of the court in relation to the production, merging, and timely delivery of transcripts.\\
\\\
Requirements\\
p>To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong transcription skills and be able to demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 75 words per minute with a 98% accuracy.\\
\\\
Person Specification\\
p>You should also be highly organized, a team player, and pride yourself on your attention to detail. In addition, you should possess a good grasp of the English language, including an understanding of structure, syntax, and grammar, and the ability to identify legal, medical, forensic, and psychiatric terminology, including Latin phrases.\\
