Our Team:
The Mark Dawson Laboratory is a dynamic and collaborative research team, passionate about advancing our understanding of the molecular mechanisms that govern clonal behaviour in normal development and in cancer biology. We are committed to delivering cutting-edge research and innovative treatments, and we are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team.

Role Description:
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will work closely with our bioinformaticians, computational biologists, and cell and molecular biologists to analyze large-scale single cell data and develop innovative methods to explore the molecular mechanisms that govern clonal behaviour in normal development and in cancer biology. You will also collaborate with other researchers to advance joint initiatives and achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities:
  • The analysis of a range of single cell sequencing data types, including scRNA-seq, scChIP-seq, scATAC-seq and spatial transcriptomics.
  • Developing innovative methods to explore the molecular mechanisms that govern clonal behaviour in normal development and in cancer biology.
  • Collaborating closely with other researchers to advance joint initiatives and achieve shared goals.

Requirements:
  • A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field.
  • Experience with single cell sequencing data analysis and proficiency in R and at least one relevant programming language.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
